When I travel, I try to pack light. I’m not always successful, but when I am it makes my trip so much easier. If I can pack in a carry-on for my trip, the whole travel experience is so much easier. I don’t have to wait for my luggage at the airport and no need to schlepp around a heavy load. My new favorite carry-on is the Osprey Ozone wheeled carry-on. The Osprey Ozone packs flat like a backpack but also has wheels.
Maybe you want to give something sturdier and a bit larger. Then try out the Samsonite Omni PC Hardside. It will still allow mom to pack light and has 4-wheels for easy mobility.
Custom Luggage Tags
A great gift for moms who travel are custom luggage tags. Mom can put her custom luggage tags on the luggage you just bought for her. I’m always rushing to fill out a luggage paper tag provided by the airlines at the airport. They are useless. They always come off while in transit. Don’t be like me and use the paper tags. Gift mom cute custom luggage tags that won’t come off in transit.
Is your mom the super-organized type? If so, you may want to consider buying packing cubes to help organize her packing. These cubes are the ultimate in organization when traveling. They even come with a laundry bag.
If mom likes to take notes or write down her travel adventures, then you may want to consider a travel journal gift. Let mom relax after a full, adventurous day and journal her memories. Perhaps mom is a travel blogger like me. She will definitely love the journal for note-taking while away.
Travel Hanging Toiletry Bag
What mom doesn’t love to pack all of her face creams, make-up, make-up remover, and so much more when traveling? If mom doesn’t yet have a hanging toiletry bag, then this is a must. I find the hanging toiletry bags are way easier to organize and find things than a non-hanging toiletry bag.
The thought of carrying a purse while traveling to hold my must-have stuff makes me cringe. I happen to hate purses in general, they weigh me down, hurt my shoulder, and are just an annoyance. However, when I travel I need to carry things like a camera, my phone, my journal, water in my reusable bottle, sunscreen, and hand sanitizer. Not to mention all of the stuff for my kids. My go-to when traveling is a backpack purse. It’s comfortable, convenient, and can hold all of my must-haves. If mom doesn’t have one of these for travel, then this is a great gift for moms who travel.
Sometimes moms just need some quiet time to themselves. We don’t get it very often. Give mom the mother’s day travel gift of noise-canceling headphones. Let mom have some time to close her eyes and shut out the noise around her.
Customizable Water Bottle
I always travel with my water bottle. I hate buying plastic water bottles. Besides, you are doing a favor for the earth while saving money. A customizable water bottle is a perfect gift for moms who travel. She can take on every adventure.
I’m always freezing when I travel. Airplanes are the worst for me. No matter what season it is, I’m freezing. Does your mom experience the same cold issues I do? If so, I have a perfect mother’s day travel gift solution for her. A travel blanket. Mom can wrap herself up and stay warm while traveling.
What mom doesn’t crave a nap when traveling. Get mom a travel pillow. She can wrap it around her neck while snuggled in her travel blanket with her noise-canceling headphones on. Mom is all ready to catch her zzzzzz’s
I would definitely love some of these!
